Overview
Episode 21: Age of Heroes takes adventurers on an unprecedented journey through time. When a dimensional rift opens on Scale Island, Nyar reveals it leads to the past β to the very moment when Lasgand first gained his immortal power. By traveling back to the era of the Gaebolg resistance against the Jormungandr Cult, you have the chance to alter history itself.
In this age of heroes, you'll join the Richard Mercenary Group, infiltrate the cult's temple, solve the mystery of a ghost ship, and ultimately face the source of the cult's power: a giant serpent that threatens to consume everything.
Your actions in the past will echo through time, weakening Lasgand in the present and revealing the true nature of the curse that has plagued Isgard for generations.

Main Quest Walkthrough
Part 1: The Dimensional Rift
Step 1: Talk to Supapa
Find Supapa at jor_tail (233, 41). He explains that the team plans to investigate Scale Island due to an unusual mana wavelength.
Step 2: Scale Island
Travel to jor_crk (137, 137). A dialogue opens and Nillem confirms the wavelength is unusual. Lehar spots Nyar on the island, so everyone decides to investigate.
Step 3: The Rift
Go to jor_crk (107, 112) and talk to Nyar. Aurelie, Lehar, and Nillem appear.
The mana wavelength comes from a dimensional rift. The boundaries between dimensions and time are collapsing. Nyar reveals this rift leads to the past β giving you a way to deal with Lasgand by going to when he first gained his power.
βΉοΈ Note: The dialogue option you choose doesn't matter for the outcome.
Step 4: Into the Past
You're warped to jor_crk_p (108, 106). Talk to Nyar again. Lehar and Nillem confirm you're in the past when the rift opened β the time of Rune-Midgarts' foundation and when Lasgand inherited his power.
A plan forms to alter the past to stop Lasgand. Lehar spots people approaching β you decide to pose as volunteers for the resistance against the Jormungandr Cult.
Step 5: Meeting Ivan
At jor_crk_p (104, 95), people appear who discovered the rift. They're against the cult but suspicious of you. Tell them "We're Adventurers".
The stranger introduces himself as Ivan from the Wigner family. You follow him to the resistance base.
Part 2: Lunaphoma - The Resistance Base
Step 6: Arrival at Lunaphoma
You're warped to luna_sf1 (258, 147). Talk to Ivan. You learn you're near the cult, in the Raised Land. Instead of attacking immediately, you're heading to the base of Gaebolg: Lunaphoma.
Step 7: The Resistance
Talk to the Resistance Soldier at jor_mbase (38, 152). He introduces you to Lunaphoma and needs to report to the commander and vice-commander first. Followers of Freya are complaining β Lehar suggests listening in.
Step 8: The Freya Dispute
Talk to Tris. The people of Freya complain that the fight against the cult is led only in Odin's name. Tris explains the difficult situation but says they need more time β the war is top priority. The Freya followers leave unhappy.
Step 9: Assignment
Talk to the Resistance Soldier again. After introductions, Tris wants to send you to the Richard Mercenary Group β people with combat skills are always needed there.
Step 10: Meeting Tan
Talk to Tan, who's clearly against you being part of the resistance. Choose "We'll go right away."
Part 3: The Richard Mercenary Group
Step 11: The Office
Follow the navigation to jor_mbase (305, 102). Tan shows you the mercenary group's office and tells you to find Richard.
Go to the office but no one is there. A mysterious man appears β Lehar sends you to speak with him. Walk into the portal above the NPCs.
Step 12: Finding Richard
Talk to ???. Explain you're here to see Mercenary King Richard, sent by Tan. He tells you Richard isn't here β go to the Central Barracks at jor_mbase (203, 190).
Step 13: Richard's Room
Go upstairs, turn right, and enter the second-to-last portal. Richard isn't here either. Check the next door.
A warning appears, then a woman asks about your business. Explain Tan sent you.
Step 14: Registration
You're sent back to the Mercenary Group's Office at jor_mbase (313, 121).
When entering, Richard isn't here. Valdaris explains you need to complete registration first.
Talk to the documents to find application papers. The old forms aren't specific to one mercenary group.
Talk to Valdaris to submit your form. Welcome to the Richard Mercenary Group!
Step 15: The Tour
Talk to Tan, who's discussing your suspicious nature with Valdaris. She decides to give you a tour.
When leaving, Valdaris explains the base was built in a rush. Walk down to see supplies from the Wigner Merchant Group.
Step 16: The Children
At jor_mbase (245, 128), children appear wanting to play with "Sister Valdaris." She explains they were rescued from the Jormungandr Cult.
Step 17: Training Grounds
Meet Valdaris at jor_mbase (147, 108). She explains the training grounds are open to everyone. Strange sounds come from the soldiers β Valdaris gets angry.
Step 18: Richard Found
Near the soldiers, someone is being beaten badly β it's Richard himself! Valdaris decides to treat his wounds.
Go to the center at jor_mbase (202, 191), then upstairs to the second-to-last portal on the right.
Step 19: The Combat Manual
Talk to Valdaris who is furious. Nerius explains Richard wanted to be attacked.
Talk to Richard β he's creating combat instruction books. Getting hit by Nerius demonstrates proper combat stances for illustrations.
Talk to Lee who shows his drawings. You're properly introduced to Richard. Lee will show you the rest while Richard and Valdaris talk.
Step 20: Galaxia's Story
Leave the room, enter the last portal.
Talk to Lee. He tells the story of how they met Galaxia, who destroyed nearly the entire mercenary group alone.
Step 21: Complete the Tour
Leave the center and walk left to jor_mbase (168, 195). Lee explains the rest of the base. Tan appears and says you should see Tris.

Part 4: Mission Briefing
Step 22: Assignments
Talk to Tris. After explaining how things went:

Step 28: Cleaning

Step 30: The Ghost Ship
Return to Iana at jor_albe (120, 145). You meet Maristella Walter and learn about the ghost ship. Her father, Walter, might be on it β you need information about its location.

Step 31: Return to Lunaphoma

Step 33: Gathering Witnesses
Talk to Ivan at jor_mbase (193, 287) β he tells you who saw the most.
Talk to Lyriq at jor_mbase (191, 306). He tells the story of what happened with the ghost ship.
Step 34: Ivan's Request
Return to Ivan at jor_mbase (237, 281). He wants to join the ghost ship mission but needs you to deliver a package to his sister in Alberta first.
Step 35: Lalaila Wigner
Travel to Alberta. Enter building at jor_albe (100, 238).
Talk to Lalaila Wigner. Enter the portal at the top and check the dusty box β it contains Ivan's old knuckles. She also gives you a letter for Maria Walter.
Step 36: Deliver the Letter
Leave and go to jor_albe (120, 146). Talk to Maristella Walter and give her the letter.

Step 40: Inside the Temple
Enter the safe spot at jor_tmple1 (170, 62).
Talk to Ivan. The plan: find humans looking to escape. Top priority is ghost ship information β go with Tan.
Visit safe spots and talk to believers:
Safe Spot 1: jor_tmple1 (103, 180) No information about the ghost ship. Their faith is too strong.
Safe Spot 2: jor_tmple1 (181, 235) They're unhappy. Humans are taken to the 2nd floor by guards.
Safe Spot 3: jor_tmple1 (229, 270) To reach the 2nd floor, you need to be registered by priests β but they've disappeared.
Step 41: Regroup
Return to the first safe spot at jor_tmple1 (170, 62).
Talk to Ivan. Everyone reached the same conclusion β you need more information about this place first.
Return to Lunaphoma.
Step 42: The Informant
Talk to Tris at jor_mbase (142, 264). Someone with inside information will arrive soon!

Visit the small boat at jor_mbase (124, 33).

Talk to Ivan β he has an idea but fears who it might be.
Step 44: Wilhelm
Return to Lunaphoma.
Talk to Ivan at jor_mbase (163, 295). You meet Wilhelm who refuses at first. After Tan explains and convinces him, he agrees to infiltrate the temple.

Part 8: Kimele Infiltration Instance
Step 45: Preparation
Travel to the Raised Land, leave through top portal, enter bushes at jor_raise1 (322, 64).
Talk to Tan. Nadoyo explains: Wilhelm will disguise as High Priest Carmigand to enter restricted areas.
Enter dungeon at jor_raise1 (152, 316), then safe spot at jor_tmple1 (229, 266).
Step 46: Start the Instance
Talk to Nadoyo. Wilhelm will pose as Carmigand.
Talk to the Guard who registers your party with fake names. Talk to the guard again to start the Kimele Infiltration instance.

Step 47: Inside the Instance
Talk to Nadoyo β Carmigand's escape plan was leaked! Find and rescue him fast.
Talk to Tan to teleport to a new room.
Talk to Wilhelm who asks believers about Carmigand. Check the inner prayer room. Wilhelm also asks about Reinhard β the person he's looking for.
Step 48: Rescuing Believers
Progress through prayer rooms:
- Talk to believers who want to escape
- Guards appear β kill them
- Wilhelm offers believers a way out
- No one knows about Reinhard
Step 49: The Reveal
Search for another prayer room at 1@mdtem (117, 38).
Guards appear claiming Wilhelm is Carmigand. More guards come. Wilhelm suggests being captured to find the real Carmigand.
You're warped to a preacher room. Carmigand appears β he's actually Reinhard, Wilhelm's brother! Their parents died and Reinhard became a high priest.
Find the secret passage by clicking Suspicious Places until you find the right one.
Step 50: Escape
Navigate the maze-like passages, killing guards along the way.
Hyasagand appears with guards and mocks Carmigand. Kill her guards.
A portal appears β enter to leave the instance.
Step 51: Aftermath
Back at the safe spot, enter the bushes. Talk to Nadoyo. Carmigand promises not to repeat his mistakes.

Step 52: Return to Tris

Talk to Wilhelm. Carmigand wishes to be called Reinhard Lugenburg again. He'll share everything he knows.

Talk to Reinhard. He confirms the Ghost Ship exists and tells you the cult uses a new route to avoid it. The cult has weakened due to humans leaving.

Check Decorative Door at jor_raise1 (128, 323).
Inside, talk to Cult Priest. Something is eating people by absorbing mana. Tan and Reinhard will deal with it while you report to Tris.
Talk to Nadoyo to warp back.
Step 69: Preparations

Enter barracks, go to Small Door.

Start the Final Battle instance.

After channeling mana into the egg, click the Big Egg.
Step 72: Corrupted Tan
Kill Corrupted Tan.
The Serpent tries to convince Tris to spare it. Tan shouts to finish it. Tris destroys the Serpent β and Tan dies with it...
Talk to Nyar. Leave to give Tris time.

Step 74: The Book
Click Suspicious Book to start the Secret Altar instance.

Talk to Lehar. Nillem explains the cult is concentrating power into Lasgand now that the serpent is dead.
Kill all monsters in the corridor.
Click the Door at the end.
Step 76: The Curse
Talk to Lehar. Continue through the familiar-looking area.
Kill all Cult Priests.
Talk to Jormungandr Shaman who curses everyone. Kill him, click door to continue.
Step 77: The Egg
Walk into Cult Shaman β they explain the curse will make them persist eternally.
Kill all Giant Serpents.
Click Giant Egg. Tris transfers the curse onto himself. He and Aurelie will watch over the egg. His descendants will fight whatever hatches.

Part 15: Return to the Present
Step 78: Nyar's Power
Talk to Nyar outside. With her reclaimed power, Lasgand should be weakened. But first, swap the tablet with something Heine hid at the docks.
Step 79: New Tablet
Return to Lunaphoma via small boat.
Talk to Bushes to receive a new Heine Tablet. Heine says goodbye.
Step 80: Return Home
Talk to Nyar and choose to return to your time.
Walk to jor_crk (137, 138). Aurelie senses the magic change. Nillem and Nyar will seal the rift while you check on Lasgand.
