Hyubi are small, fluffy divine creatures native to HymnRO. Revered throughout the land as sacred beings, they are rumoured to be divine messengers of God. Their songs are said to carry powerful blessings — healing injuries, curing sickness, and bringing comfort to all who hear them.

As the official mascot of HymnRO, Hyubi can be found throughout the world, most notably serving as the Healer NPCs in every major town.

Hyubi are drawn to places that emit holy energy. They naturally congregate around temples, churches, cathedrals, and other places of worship. This affinity for sacred ground has led many to believe they serve as intermediaries between Heaven and Earth.

Despite their celestial nature, Hyubi are friendly and approachable creatures. They show no fear of adventurers and seem to take genuine joy in helping those in need. When a Hyubi sings, nearby listeners often report feeling a warm, soothing sensation — as if their worries are being lifted away.

The Blessing of Song

The most remarkable trait of the Hyubi is their healing song. Ancient texts and modern accounts alike describe the miraculous effects of hearing a Hyubi's melody:

Role in HymnRO

Healer NPCs

Throughout HymnRO, Hyubi serve as the Healer NPCs in every major town and city. Speak to them to have your HP and SP fully restored — a blessing freely given to all adventurers.

Their presence in towns reinforces the belief that "their songs carry blessings and heal the body and soul."

Beginner Tutorial

New adventurers first encounter a Hyubi during the Beginner Tutorial. A young Hyubi has been captured by a Poacher and caged in the tutorial area. Players must defeat the Poacher, obtain the Silver Key, and free the creature.

This rescued Hyubi then teaches players how to use healing items before guiding them toward the portal to Heaven. Upon reaching Heaven, the Pope reveals that the Hyubi has safely returned and offers thanks for the player's compassion.

The Poacher Threat

A Dark Conspiracy

Not all view the Hyubi with reverence. A secretive organisation operating in the shadows has taken a sinister interest in these divine creatures. Rumours suggest corrupt elements — perhaps even a fallen priest — seek to harness and control holy power for their own ends.

This organisation has been conducting dark experiments on captured Hyubi, attempting to extract or manipulate their divine essence. To fuel their research, they employ poachers who roam the land, capturing any Hyubi they can find.

⚠️ Warning: The identity and true goals of this organisation remain unknown. Adventurers are advised to report any suspicious activity to local authorities.

Random Encounters

On rare occasions, adventurers may encounter these poachers while exploring the world. These hostile individuals will attack on sight, but defeating them will free any Hyubi they have captured.

A rescued Hyubi will express its gratitude by bestowing a small reward upon its saviour before flying off to safety.

💡 Tip: Keep an eye out while exploring — you never know when you might encounter a Poacher and have the chance to rescue a Hyubi!
