Instances are special dungeons that create a private copy of a map for your party. They have time limits and often contain unique bosses and rewards.
How Instances Work
- Instances are party-based content - you need to be in a party to enter most instances
- Each instance has a time limit after which it will be destroyed
- Instances have a cooldown period before you can enter again
- Use the Instance Manager NPC or specific instance NPCs to create/enter instances

Instance Tips
Before Entering
- Make sure your party is properly formed
- Check that everyone has the required level
- Bring appropriate consumables (potions, buffs)
- Verify your equipment is repaired
Inside the Instance
- Communicate with your party about strategy
- Don't AFK - instances have idle timeouts
- Watch for boss mechanics and telegraphed attacks
- Loot everything - instance items are often valuable
Cooldowns
Most instances have a cooldown period after completion:
- Normal instances: Once per day (resets at midnight server time)
- Some instances: Once per week (resets on Monday)
- Special events: May have different cooldown rules
