Episode 13: Ash Vacuum introduces the dark secrets of the Rekenber Corporation and their bio-experiments in the Somatology Laboratory (Biolabs) in Lighthalzen.

Main Quest

Biolabs Entrance Quest

This quest grants you access to the Somatology Laboratory (Biolabs Dungeon).

Step 1: Enter the Slums

1. Head to the east side of Lighthalzen (lighthalzen 267, 200)
2. Talk to the Guard blocking the path to the slums
3. Keep talking to him repeatedly - eventually you'll slip past when he's distracted
4. Alternatively, wait until nighttime (22:00-02:00 server time) when guards are sleeping

ℹ️ Note: If a "Gangster Alert" announcement appears, you must kill all Gangster mobs in town before guards will let anyone pass.

Step 2: Meet Fishbone

1. Once in the slums, find Fishbone (lighthalzen 341, 224)
2. Talk to him multiple times - he'll be suspicious at first
3. Eventually he reveals he's an ex-researcher from the Rekenber Corporation
4. He offers to help you in exchange for 20x Jellopy (#909)
5. Give him the Jellopies and ask him to send you to the "maze"

Step 3: The Cube Room Maze

1. Fishbone warps you to a puzzle maze called the Cube Room
2. Navigate through the rooms - some portals teleport you randomly
3. Find and collect these items as you progress:
   • Short Stick (multiple needed)
   • Long Stick (combine 2 Short Sticks)
   • Jackknife

Step 4: The Laboratory

1. Find the hidden laboratory room within the maze
2. Examine the Painting above the desk - move it and type "Jackknife"
3. Write down the numbers you receive (you'll need them later)
4. Find the Chest and take the Axe
5. Examine the Barrel and type "Axe"

Step 5: The Number Puzzle

1. The Barrel asks for 9 numbers
2. Use the numbers from the painting - arrange them in a specific order
3. The code uses the second digit of each number to determine order
4. Input each number one at a time

Step 6: Escape the Lab

1. Examine the Power Generator - type "Yellow Key"
2. Go to the Status Light beside the bed - smash it to get Black Key
3. Examine the Experiment Tube - type "Black Key" to get an Oval
4. Find the Box beside the Cabinet and use it to escape
5. Choose "Go down" when prompted

Completion

You'll emerge near the Underwater Tunnel. You now have permanent access to Biolabs!

ℹ️ Note: To re-enter Biolabs: Use the Underwater Tunnel (lighthalzen 311, 302) and walk straight to the portal.

Requirements: None

Rewards: EXP, Permanent slum access pass

1. Find Maku in Lighthalzen Hotel (lhz_in01 117, 168)
2. Talk to him about his friend Digotz - they had a falling out
3. Find Digotz elsewhere in the hotel
4. Travel to Juno Library and find the student Benkaistein
5. Help him find a book - "Friend's Diary" (yuno_in04 168, 117)
6. Return the diary to Benkaistein
7. Show the diary to both Digotz and Maku
8. Witness the tragic conclusion to their story

Cursed Spirit Quest

Requirements: Complete Biolabs Entrance Quest, 1x Handcuffs (#7196), 1x Glass Bead (#746), 1x Bouquet (#740), 5x Holy Water (#523), Geek Glasses (#5049), Grandpa Beard (#5028)

1. Obtain Handcuffs (#7196) (dropped by monsters in Biolabs)
2. Walk to specific trigger locations while holding Handcuffs:
   • (lhz_dun01 147, 106) or (lhz_dun01 239, 135)
   • (lhz_dun02 244, 229) or (lhz_dun02 60, 298)
3. Follow the spirit's story about the laboratory's dark past
4. Complete the ritual with the required items

President Quest (Eye of Hellion)

Requirements: Complete Biolabs Entrance Quest, Complete Einbroch Murder Quest

1. Talk to Ghalstein (lighthalzen 179, 170)
2. Overhear a suspicious conversation near the upper left wall
3. Confront Ghalstein about what you heard
4. He reveals he's part of a secret resistance group
5. Help him gather evidence against Rekenber Corporation
6. Required items: Geek Glasses (#5049), Grandpa Beard (#5028), 10x Research Chart (#7308), 10x Handcuffs (#7196), Pile of Ymir Heart (#7313)
