    Episode 20: The Immortal continues the story in the frozen lands of Jormungandr, where players uncover the truth behind the Rgan threat and the mysterious Bagot's plans for immortality. This episode features the White Cat Clan reputation system, multiple instances, and culminates in a dramatic confrontation with the immortal Lasgand.

    Overview

    Following the events of Episode 19, the Iwin defenders at Ice Castle have been researching the location of the Rgan's hidden lair. Horr enlists adventurers to help expand the search radius, leading to discoveries that will shake the foundations of everything known about the conflict between Iwins and Rgans.

    The investigation leads deep into the Ancient Ice Gorge, where ancient icewinds guard forbidden secrets. Evidence of Rgan infiltration is found, along with mysterious mana-absorbing devices created by the enigmatic Bagot. As the truth unfolds, players discover that Bagot has been controlling the Rgans through dark magic, and his ultimate goal is achieving true immortality.

    A mysterious talking cat named Nyar becomes an unlikely ally, eventually revealing themselves as a free Rgan who escaped Bagot's control. Together with Nyar and the Iwin defenders, players must stop Bagot's ritual before he becomes an unstoppable immortal threat.

    Main Quest

    Part 1: The Investigation Begins (Steps 1-9)

    Requirements: Level 215+, Episode 19 complete

    1. Speak to Horr at Ice Castle (icecastle 27, 126).
    2. He explains the research to find the snake's lair has been difficult.
    3. Select "I'll help!" to accept the mission.
      • Reward: 500,000,000 Base EXP
    4. Go meet Leon inside the castle at the command center (icas_in 261, 197).
    5. Leon tells you about the Ancient Ice Gorge where Rgans may be hiding.
      • Reward: 500,000,000 Base EXP
    6. Travel to Ancient Ice Gorge and find Lehar at (jor_back5 353, 73).
    7. You'll be warped to a safe area - but an Ancient Icewind attacks!
    8. Follow Lehar to another safe spot (jor_safty1 195, 327).
    9. Horr discovers mixed Iwin and Rgan trails - very concerning.
      • Reward: 500,000,000 Base EXP

    Part 2: Finding Evidence (Steps 4-7)

    1. Find Miriam at (jor_back5 355, 352).
    2. She takes you to examine a frozen Rgan and a mysterious device.
    3. Lehar and Lazy join - the device appears to be some kind of machine.
    4. Return to Ice Castle to report findings.

    Part 3: Private Investigation (Steps 6-9)

    1. Horr wants to speak privately - meet him at (icas_in 259, 219).
    2. He found Iwin feathers near a dead Rgan - possible traitors!
    3. Investigate discreetly:
      1. Talk to Torr at the barracks (icas_in 109, 38)
      2. Check Suspicious Sign in back alleys (icecastle 209, 237)
      3. Talk to Charr in residential area (icecastle 67, 222)
    4. Report back to Horr with your findings.

    Part 4: Mana Absorber Analysis (Steps 9-12)

    1. Vellugunde completes his analysis at (icas_in 141, 216).
    2. The device is a mana absorber - created by Bagot.
    3. If Rgans are installing these everywhere, they're gathering massive amounts of mana.

    💡 Tip: The mana absorber revelation is key to understanding Bagot's immortality ritual.

    Part 5: Canyon Exploration (Step 10)

    1. Talk to Lehar at (icecastle 140, 230) to start the Canyon Exploration instance.
    2. Explore the canyon to find the hidden entrance to the Rgan sanctuary.
    3. Report success to Leon after completion.
      • Reward: 500,000,000 Base EXP

    Part 6: Transformation Scroll (Steps 11-12)

    1. Vellugunde creates a Rgan Transformation Scroll from the frozen Rgan's data.
    2. Collect the scroll from Vellugunde at (icas_in 141, 216).

    ⚠️ Warning: The transformation scroll is a one-time use item. Make sure you're ready before using it!

    Part 7: Infiltration Mission (Steps 13-30)

    1. Get briefing from Leon at (icas_in 260, 195).
    2. Your mission: Infiltrate the Rgan sanctuary and gather intelligence.
    3. Go to the Hidden Entrance at (jor_back5 155, 350).
    4. Use the transformation scroll to disguise yourself as a Rgan.
    5. Inside the sanctuary, discover:
      • The "Master" is Bagot
      • Bagot is gathering mana for an immortality ritual
      • The Rgans plan to attack the World Tree
      • Many Rgans are being controlled against their will
    6. You are discovered by Bagot and must escape!
      • Reward: +150 Reputation

    Part 8: World Tree Defense (Steps 31-77)

    1. Return to Ice Castle and report your findings.
    2. Travel to jor_nest to defend the World Tree.
    3. Meet Nyar, the mysterious talking cat who will aid you.
    4. Complete the Nest of Twigs instance to defend against Bagot's forces.
      • Reward: +200 Reputation

    Part 9: Nyar's Revelation (Steps 77-87)

    After defending the World Tree, Nyar reveals a shocking truth:

    "The truth is, I'm not just a talking cat. I am a Rgan. But not like the ones you've been fighting. Bagot has been using dark magic to control my people! They're not acting of their own free will!"

    2. Accept the alliance to defeat Bagot together.
    3. Nyar explains that the final battle awaits at the Dull Snowfield.

    Part 10: Final Confrontation (Steps 88-100)

    1. Meet Nyar at the Dull Snowfield (jor_dun03 50, 20).
    2. Enter the Separated Sanctuary instance.
    3. Defeat Lasgand (Bagot's immortal form).
    4. Return to Ice Castle for the victory celebration.

    5. Quest complete - Nadyagand begins integrating into Ice Castle society.
