    Nydhogg's Nest (also spelled Nidhoggur's Nest) is an advanced instance located in the depths beneath Yggdrasil, the World Tree. Players venture into the dragon's lair to face Nidhoggur's Shadow, a manifestation of the ancient dragon that gnaws at the roots of Yggdrasil. The instance features unique color-based mechanics during the boss fight.

    Overview

    In Norse mythology, Nidhoggr is a dragon that gnaws at the roots of Yggdrasil, the World Tree. In Ragnarok Online, the Laphine expedition has discovered the dragon's nest deep beneath the tree, where Nidhoggur's Shadow threatens to corrupt the roots.

    Players must prove themselves as "servants of the Guardian" to gain entry, then navigate the treacherous nest to confront the shadow dragon.

    4. When prompted, speak the password: "Guardian's spell"
    5. As party leader, request to enter Nidhoggur's Nest.

    The first floor is a gauntlet of dragon-related monsters:
