Socket Enchanting is a service that adds card slots to equipment that either has no slots or has fewer slots than possible. This allows you to customize previously non-slottable equipment with cards.
Overview
Socket Enchanting:
- Adds card slots to eligible equipment
- Requires specific materials depending on the item
- Has a chance of failure which destroys the item
- Is performed by NPCs in specific locations

How It Works
- Find the Socket Enchant NPC
- Select the equipment you want to socket
- Provide the required materials and zeny
- The NPC attempts to add a slot
- Success: Equipment gains a slot
- Failure: Equipment is destroyed
