Wave Mode - Sky is the daily version of Wave Mode, featuring unique mechanics including Treasure Boxes that appear every 5 waves and Mercenary allies that assist your party.

  • Has a daily cooldown
  • Features Treasure Box bonus waves
  • Spawns friendly Mercenaries
  • Uses different monster set

Mechanics

Wave System

  • 10 unique monster types that cycle
  • 15 monsters spawn per wave (alternating aggressive/passive)
  • Spawn timing: Every 0.5 seconds for 8 seconds

Monster Spawns

Each wave spawns monsters with alternating behavior:

  • Aggressive (odd spawns) - Will attack if provoked
  • Passive (even spawns) - Only walk to exit

Treasure Waves

Every 5th wave spawns Treasure Boxes instead of monsters:

  • Wave 5: 1 Treasure Box
  • Wave 10: 2 Treasure Boxes
  • Wave 15: 3 Treasure Boxes
  • Wave 20: 4 Treasure Boxes
  • Wave 25+: 5 Treasure Boxes (max)

Treasure Box Mechanics:

  • ID: WA_TREASURE (3075)
  • Shows countdown emotes: Dice3 โ†’ Dice2 โ†’ Dice1
  • Self-destructs after ~19 seconds if not killed
  • Kill quickly for rewards!

Mercenaries

2 Mercenaries spawn each regular wave

  • ID: WA_MERCENARY (3086)
  • They fight alongside you!
  • Walk the same path as monsters
  • Last 45 seconds before despawning
  • Use AI_WAVEMODE behavior

Treasure Box Strategy

Timing

  • Boxes spawn when wave starts
  • 3-second countdown begins at 16.5 seconds
  • Self-destruct at ~19 seconds
  • You have limited time to kill them!

Priority

  • High single-target DPS recommended
  • Each box killed = bonus rewards
  • More boxes spawn as waves progress
  • Max 5 boxes after wave 25

  • Mercenary help - They assist but don't rely on them
  • Aggressive mobs - Half the spawns will fight back
  • Boss DPS - Bring single-target for Treasure waves
  • Party up - More effective with coordination
