Enchantment is a system that adds stat bonuses to special equipment slots separate from card slots. Unlike cards, enchantments can often be re-rolled or upgraded for different bonuses.
Overview
Enchantment provides:
- Stat bonuses β STR, AGI, VIT, INT, DEX, LUK, and 4th job stats (POW, STA, WIS, SPL, CON, CRT)
- Special effects β ATK%, MATK%, ASPD, Critical, elemental damage bonuses
- Build customization β Tailor equipment to your playstyle
- Upgrade paths β Many enchantments can be leveled up for stronger effects
βΉοΈ Note: Enchantment slots are separate from card slots. You can have both cards AND enchantments on the same equipment.
How Enchanting Works
- Find the Enchantment NPC that handles your specific equipment
- Pay the required materials (varies by equipment)
- Receive an enchantment on your equipment (perfect or random depending on system)
- Upgrade existing enchantments to higher levels using additional materials
β οΈ Warning: Some upgrade attempts can fail! Check the success rate before attempting. Failed upgrades may downgrade or reset your enchantment depending on the system.

Some equipment has unique enchantment lines that provide powerful set bonuses:
- Bear's Power (3x STR) β Physical melee builds
- Hawk Eye (3x DEX) β Ranged builds
- Lucky Day (3x LUK) β Critical builds
- Spell lines β Magic damage builds
General Tips

Research first β Know what enchantments are possible and their costs before starting
Check success rates β High-level upgrades often have lower success chances
Gather materials in advance β Some enchants require rare instance drops
Perfect vs Random β Perfect enchants guarantee success but cost more; random is cheaper but risky
"Good enough" β Perfect max-level enchants are expensive; functional mid-tier enchants work fine for most content
